After seeing lots of lots of “news” stories on pages with inaccurate information, gory pictures that’s disrespectful to families, and nothing with humor we decided to create Jersey Coast Emergency News. A few friends within the first responder community decided to start a Facebook page in December 2021 on what’s happening across the state. Within the first year we received over 80,000 followers. With such a platform we decided to have a little humor in our posts. That showed that there’s lots of people out there with no personality who want to silence anyone who isn’t like them. Jersey Coast Emergency News then got together and created our own website where we can share all our content.
