JACKSON: Numerous people are hurt after a ride malfunctioned at Six Flags Great Adventure. At least 8 people are injured. 5 people are being transferred to the hospital. The injured appear to have minor injuries with the back and neck. All patients are being transported via BLS (Basic Life Support) which means they might not be too severe. We have unconfirmed reports that the ride was El Toro, and it had a malfunction while riders were on board. We will update as we get more information.

Update: We are now hearing anywhere from 12-16 injuries. No fatalities.
