SEASIDE: Lodi school district superintendent Douglas Petty has been charged with assault after punching a woman, and fighting a man. Early Sunday morning a police officer watched Petty commit the assaults. According to reports it took more than one officer to arrest Petty. Douglas Petty was released the next day following the arrest. We have been told that the female he punched was his wife. We will update as we get additional information.
