On September 21, 2022, just after 2am, a structure fire was reported at a residence in the Four Seasons development off of Shorrock St. in Lakewood.

The first arriving Engine encountered a well involved 1 1/2 story private dwelling with fire through the roof.

A 2nd alarm was transmitted. Ladder Pipe in service. Adjacent homes suffered some damage to their siding. The fire was deemed under control before 3am

An individual from the residence was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The Ocean County Fire Marshal is handing the fire investigation.
