LITTLE EGG HARBOR: We have reports that last night’s deadly crash was caused by a wrong way driver. According to eye witnesses the driver drove up the exit ramp driving North on Garden State Parkway South.

State Police are still investigating a crash that happened just before 9:00 Friday night. The crash occurred on Garden State Parkway South near mile marker 59.3. All traffic heading Southbound was diverted off exit exit 63. 

While listening to the scanner we heard 2 people were DOA (dead on arrival) and another victim was trapped inside their vehicle. Police have now confirmed that at least two victim have passed away. We don’t have a confirmed exact number of injuries but listening to the scanners it’s believed to be 3. Please drive carefully on the roads. The amount of deadly crashes is up this year.
