TOMS RIVER: Around 11:30 last night crews were dispatched to a structure fire in building 6 of Silver Ridge Apartments. Upon arrival a man and woman pulled a victim out of second floor blaze. The victim was transported to Community Medical Center with non life threatening injuries. Crews from numerous nearby fire departments were on scene until early this morning. The fire has left three families homeless.
