HOLMDEL: A police pursuit with a stolen vehicle that ended in a crash has closed Route 35 in both directions from Centerville to Union Ave. We have reports that there was shots fired. It is unknown at this time if anyone was hurt or killed in the incident.

Route 36 in Keyport is also closed for what we are being told is a stolen vehicle crashing. Exit 117 is closed because of the incident. This is a breaking news story. We will update as we get additional information.
