HAMILTON: At approximately 23:45 hours on 10/31/22, Station 12-3 was dispatched mutual aid into the Weymouth section of the Township of Hamilton at Arawak Paving, 7503 Weymouth Rd for a structure fire. Station 18-4 units arrived to find a large fire in the yard involving large oil tanks used in the making of asphalt with explosions. Tender 12-34, Quint 12-36 and Squad 12-31 all responded with 12-36 and Hammonton Tower 9 using their ladder pipes to extinguish the heavy fire, and then work on cooling the affected tanks. 12-34 acted as the nurse tender for 12-36 for the duration of the incident. Atlantic County Tender Task Force Bravo was utilized for water supply. Great job by all departments on an unusual and large incident. Station 12-3 units cleared the scene around 02:30 hours with no personnel injuries reported.
