BRICK: Seems like that prison reform is really teaching people life lessons. On August 9, 2018 Brittany Keifer of Point Pleasant nearly killed a 14 year old girl on Route 88. Keiffer hit the juvenile bicyclist, dragged her on her hood and took off from the scene. She would then contact her boyfriend to help hide the car. Fast forward Keifer took a plea deal for what prosecutors said was three years probation.
Now, we are getting word that in April of 2022 officers from Brick Township Police Department arrested Keifer for DUI, Refusal to submit to chemical test, and careless driving. When the probation office was contacted to ask if these charges would go against her probation they informed us that it was that Keifer’s probation has been shortened from three years to only two years.
A court date is scheduled in December for Keifer’s new charges.
Keifer is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
