BRICK: At 4:41 AM this morning, Herbertsville Fire Department was dispatched to a residence in Maple Leaf Park for a smoke condition inside. While enroute to the call, Brick Police Department advised active flames were coming from the residence. The call was upgraded to a 2nd alarm residential fire. The first due engine was on scene within a few minutes and made an extremely quick knock down on the fire. The fire is currently under investigation.
