Born in Point Pleasant, Navy Veteran Scott Sargent moved to Jackson Township 30 years ago and has been married to his wife Claudia for 27 years. Scott and Claudia are the proud parents of Andrew and Julia.

Scott is now serving his 10th year on the Jackson Township Board of Education where he has been a member of the Transportation Committee, Negotiations Committee and Buildings and Grounds Committee.

Scott’s public service also includes his work with the Jackson Township Veterans Commission and Jackson Township Handicap Commission.

Scott is currently employed by Jackson Township, Department of Public Works. In addition to his many jobs within the Department Scott has also served as the Storm Water Coordinator and Safety Coordinator.

Jennifer Kuhn is a third generation, lifelong resident of Jackson Township and a proud graduate of Jackson Memorial High School. Jen’s father, two brothers and other extended family all call Jackson Township home.

Since 2004 Jen has enjoyed great success in the real estate industry and in 2015 earned her real estate broker license. In addition to being the Managing Broker at Jackson eXp Realty, Jen also owns a title agency, a credit repair agency and shares her success with young professionals through two different schools that she owns and operates.

Michael Reina has been married to his wife Laura for 41 years and is a 35 year resident of Jackson Township. Mike and Laura raised their 3 children in Jackson, all of whom are graduates of Jackson Memorial High School and who are now raising families of their own in Jackson.

Mike’s service to Jackson Township residents began in 2000 as a member of the Jackson Township Planning Board. Since that time Mike has served as a Class 1 SLEO with the Jackson Township Police Department, as a volunteer firefighter for Station 56, as a Township Council member/Vice President and now Mayor for the past 14 years.

Mike currently is employed as the Superintendent of Bridges in Ocean County where he oversees 248 water and land based structures and supervises 21 County employees.

Mayor Michael Reina has supported the strongest Jackson Police Department in history.
