CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Freedom Animal Rescue Farm released the following statement. “WE NEED YOUR HELP! We have been trying to raise $2,340 so we can get a load of round bales delivered. We have only raised $384 towards our goal. We just used $360 of that to buy 4 round bales to get us through the next few days. Which puts us back down to $24 towards our goal. We go through hay fast around here. We use 900 pound round bales of hay for our cows, and we go through six round bales per week! That’s 5,400 pounds of hay each week just for the cows alone! We also go through 70 square bales each week for our goats, sheep, alpacas, llamas and donkeys. Each round bale cost us $90 each and a full delivery is 26 round bales, each square bale costs $10 each. If every one of our followers donated $5 or even just a few dollars for hay today, it would make a tremendous difference! PLEASE, it takes a village. Don’t think someone else will do it, we need YOUR help! Whether you donate $1,$5,$10, $20,$50, $100 or $1000 you are making a HUGE difference!
