WEST MILFORD: At 10:09am West Milford Fire Companies 3,6,5 responded to 28 DeHart Ave for a reported boat fire. First arriving units 803 & 801 confirmed a fully involved boat in the water. The fire was extending to the dock, a tiki bar, and the deck of the home. Several propane cylinders also ignited. First arriving unit Tanker 5 stretched a line protecting the home. A second line was stretched off Engine 6 attacking the fire. Companies 1 & 2 were requested to respond with tanker, along with a tanker from Stonetown in Ringwood. The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes. Extensive overhaul was performed. There were no injuries. West Milford First Aid responded for rehab. The fire is under investigation by the West Milford Fire Marshals Office.
