ACCUSED: Tahmel Brazile, Age 23 Eatontown, NJ

NARRATIVE:

On March 21, 2023 at approximately 2:30am Deal officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Grassmere Ave for a report of a subject possibly breaking into vehicles. Sgt Egan and Ptl Losquadro arrived in the area shortly after and observed a subject committing a vehicle burglary. The accused immediately fled the area upon being approached by police. Following a brief foot pursuit, the subject was placed under arrest by Ptl Dowling.

The accused was transported to Deal Police Headquarters for processing and charging. The accused was subsequently charged with five counts of Burglary, Resisting Arrest, Obstruction and Possession of Burglary Tools. In accordance with bail reform guidelines, the accused was committed to Monmouth County Jail pending a court date. The Deal Police Department reminds the public to always lock your vehicles when you are not with them and to report any suspicious activity to the police immediately.
