TOMS RIVER: Fire departments are on location of a residence on Whitty Road for a 4 alarm structure fire. While firefighters were battling the fire a portion of the house collapsed. Numerous dogs have been killed, and 6 were rescued. Birds, and cats are also inside the residence. Two firefighters are being treated for injuries. We will update as we get additional information.
