SANDY HOOK: Numerous victims were rescued today off the Jersey Shore as a result of rip tides. On Sandy Hook’s Beach B emergency personnel responded to the park for a call with 5 swimmers in distress. One swimmer who was pulled out of the water was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The condition of the other swimmers is unknown.
