PHILADELPHIA: Avoid I-95 near Philadelphia due to a portion of the highway collapsing. A tanker truck caught fire under the overpass at around 6:30th is morning. The tanker exploded causing a portion of 95 to collapse, and compromising both north and southbound lanes. Traffic is stopped on both sides between the Woodhaven and Aramingo exits 25, and 32. The fire is causing manhole covers to explode in the surrounding areas. The fire has been brought under control. The scene is being treated as a hazmat scene. Currently, there’s no word on what the truck was hauling. This is causing a traffic nightmare and will cause a traffic issue for weeks maybe months to come. No word on any injuries as of yet. We will update as we get additional information.
