STAFFORD: On June 15, 2023 the Stafford Township Detective Bureau and Patrol Division conducted a proactive investigation into complaints of lewd activity on Stafford Avenue, near the Bridge to Nowhere.

During the investigation, William MacDonald, 79 years of Barnegat, NJ, approached a male subject on multiple occasions, soliciting him to engage in unlawful conduct. As a result, MacDonald was arrested and charged with Harassment. He was processed and released on a summons pending a future court appearance at the Stafford Township Municipal Court.

As a reminder, the Stafford Township Police Department does not release photos of arrested subjects, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
