LAKEWOOD: At approximately 3:00 police responded to Wells Fargo, and TD Bank for two bank robberies. The suspect apparently failed at robbing the Wells Fargo, and ran to the TD Bank. There it’s reported he left with over $1,000. Numerous Lakewood Police, and Sheriffs officers responded and surrounded the banks. The suspect was able to escape before police arrived.
Usually a bank robbery closes down the bank, but not in Lakewood. It’s business as usual which leaves me extremely confused. I went to the scene a hour after the robbery thinking Sheriffs would be on scene investigating. I was wrong. It’s business as usual at both banks. Meanwhile a hour ago police had the buildings surrounded with rifles.
