LACEY: Emergency personnel are still on the scene of a major fire on Buttonwood Drive in the Lanoka Harbor section of Lacey. Officials reported hoarding conditions, and four people trapped inside including an infant. Lacey received mutual aid from surrounding communities, as a second alarm was transmitted. A medevac was called for an infant to Lacey DPW, and was canceled. CPR was still being performed on the 4 month old infant that was pulled from of the fire during the cancelation. We are being told one person was DOA (dead on arrival) and the house was supposed to be vacant as it needed to be condemned. Numerous roads are closed in the neighborhood as there was explosions from the fire. We will update as new developments become available.
