MANASQUAN INLET: A boat crashed into the jetty on the Point Pleasant side of the Manasquan inlet. 4 people were rescued and one is missing. One man was screaming “my son my son” as he was being pulled over the wall. Witnesses state that 2 people were rescued on the Point Pleasant side were seconds away from drowning. On the scanner dispatch stated four were rescued. Witnesses are telling me it’s two. The swells are currently 8-10 feet tall. The towels in the picture were used to dry off those rescued.
