WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP: An alleged child rapist with political ties has been released from jail. Kevin Tomafsky, a former aide to Governor Chris Christie is accused of engaging in sexual acts with a six year old girl. Law enforcement seized Tomafsky’s laptop finding less than 1,000 images of child sex abuse material.
Christopher Del Borrello a candidate for Senate in District 4 weighed in on the topic. In a statement to the New Jersey Globe he stated the following.

“As a father, the allegations against Mr. Tomafsky make me sick to my stomach, and my heart goes out to this little girl whose innocence was stolen from her forever,” said Del Borrello, a former councilman. “Now, to learn that the alleged perpetrator has been released from jail thanks to the ‘bail reform’ law that Paul Moriarty voted for in the Assembly makes me plain angry.”
Actions have consequences, and in this case, Paul Moriarty’s actions have allowed an alleged child predator to walk out of jail, apparently with no restrictions on his ability to be around children. “It’s outrageous.”
There’s no shortage of crime happening under this current administration. Car thefts are up nearly 30% this year, with over 14,000 cars stolen in New Jersey last year alone.
These criminals aren’t facing any consequences for their actions. They are getting arrested, and out on the streets one hour later. That’s why it’s important this election to vote for candidates who have our safety in mind.
Criminals such as Kevin Tomafsky need to be put behind bars for the safety of our children. It’s extremely important that we vote for candidates who oppose this current bail reform. In Legislative District Four there’s one column that will get the job done. Republican candidates Chris Del Borrello, Matt Walker, and Amanda Esposito.
