LAKEWOOD: Numerous fire departments are responding to Lakewood for a working structure fire at Leisure Park. Leisure Park is a nursing home, and an assisted living facility. This fire is growing quick. Seems to have started from the dryer. Residents are being evacuated. Ladder being requested to the sixth floor. We will update as we get additional information.

Update: Firefighters are doing a search to see if there’s any victims.

Update: Smoke on 4 floors. Floors 3, 4, 5, and 6 are filled with smoke.

Update: Some residents are being told to shelter in place. Seems the risk of fire spreading is no longer.

Update: One patient coming down for evaluation. Sounds like there’s a few injuries now. I can’t tell the exact amount. But there’s definitely injuries.

Update: Fire is now under control.
