There’s three candidates in the state of NJ that caught my eye for the upcoming election taking place Tuesday November 7th. That ticket is Matt Walker, Amanda Esposito, and Chris Del Borrello.

Matt Walker is a 35 year operating engineer with 29 years in Local 825. Matt is also a veteran of the US Navy with Seabees (construction battalion) Matt has been married for 35 years to his first and only girlfriend. In his little free time he enjoys spending it with his 6 grand children.

Amanda Esposito is a teacher going on her 12th year! She’s taught 6th grade world history, senior psychology, for ten of those years. Amanda  grew up in Washington Township, and is an active volunteer at the “Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.” She volunteers here to give back to those battling pancreatic cancer, a disease she lost her father too. Amanda is also a Student council advisor for the Junior High School.

Chris Del Borrello is a father of 4, an active member of the Knights of Columbus, and an entrepreneur. In his spare time he enjoys taking his children to hockey, soccer dance, and cross country.

Coming from working class backgrounds, and getting involved with the community’s these candidates really caught my eye. Here are a few issues we discussed.

The windmill project has been a disaster. With state government bailouts to an international company that’s no longer doing the work, false promises, and dead wildlife somebody needs to pay. Walker, Esposito, and Del Borello will fight to make sure we get back every penny of tax money spent.

Next, another topic is parental rights. Teachers are being told to keep secrets from parents on their child’s identity, or face being fired. In school teachers have to go by the name and pronouns the students want. Amanda Esposito a school teacher for 12 years went to to state “When sending an email to parents, teachers have to think about how to write emails to students who go by different names, and genders. Teachers can be held liable if they mess up, and go by their biological pronouns.

Also, age appropriate  material for 1st-3rd graders. Sex curriculum needs to be age appropriate. Parents need to teach their children certain topics, and not the schools. “We need to stop keeping parents in the dark.”

These candidates also want to figure out how to overcome the growing homeless population across the state. With popup tent cities, what needs to be done? We need to get to the root of homelessness. Is it mental health? Is it finances? We need to help neighbors out since we send billions overseas and don’t take care of our own. Matt Walker stated.

Under this teams leadership Atlantic City airport won’t have illegal anything! “The Air Force fighter wing is here, and it needs to be safe. The FAA testing center is there and that needs to be safe. There’s no place for housing illegal immigrants on Atlantic City Airport. With that being said I’m Pro immigration. I’m pro American dream. I just want it done the legal way.” Said Matt Walker.

These candidates also want to support our police with good policies. “Police need to put handcuffs on criminals and not the police. Bail reform needs to be thrown out the window.” Said Chris Del Borrello.

During Del Borrello’s 2010-2014 term on the Washington Township Council Chris cut taxes, and killed certain taxes. “Theres a flat tax in Washington Township. Some of the things learned in Washington Township we would take to Trenton.”

Their Opponent Paul Moriarty has voted for every fee, and tax increase. It’s time he is voted out.

“We want people to come out and vote. If you have vote by mail send it in.” Distrixt 4 Republicans Matt Walker, Amanda Esposito, and Chris Del Borrello. They will represent the working class, and state with pride. Please go out and vote!
