WARETOWN: The EMS coordinator, and numerous fire departments responded to Garden State Parkway South for a school bus crash. The crash occurred near mile marker 69 near the toll plaza. The bus is a short bus, and there’s 5 reported injuries. The bus was picking up students from Southern Regional and enroute to Neptune. Among the injured was the driver, an aide, and three students. One vehicle is in the woods as a result of the crash. Parkway South is only open in one lane. We will update as we get additional information.
