NEWARK: Police are searching for a missing man with dementia after he landed in Newark on Sunday. The man was supposed to be escorted by the airline, but wasn’t according to the man’s son.

“My Dad is still missing. He arrived at EWR (Newark) Sunday Dec. 10th close to midnight on flight 2162 from United Airlines. He has no phone and no ID as he lost those items. He suffers from Dementia and was supposed to be escorted out the gate. He was wearing a red sweatshirt and dark grey sweat pants. He had a small black backpack with medication and other personal belongings. No cash on him. He needs medical assistance. If you can continue to share hopefully someone can locate him.”
