WALL/BERKELEY: Wall Police released the following statement. Yesterday, around 4:30pm Wall Police responded to the WaWa on Hwy 34 for a report of a stolen vehicle. A 1989 Ford F-350 was left unlocked and running in the parking lot of WaWa. Joseph Cranmer, 37 of Little Egg Harbor got in the truck and drove off while the owner was in the store. The vehicle was entered stolen and a short time later was found by Berkeley Township Police. Cranmer tried to run from the truck but was caught by Berkeley Police. He was charged with the theft and other related offenses. Cranmer is currently lodged in the Ocean County Jail.
