HAZLET: At approximately 3:45am police received a report of two black males attempting to enter a home. A white Hyundai sedan dropped the two black males pictured off near a home on Colby Ln, located in the Fleetwood Park section of town. The two subjects attempted to break into the home but the homeowner was able to scare them off via ring camera before any entry was made.

The two subjects fled the scene and a perimeter to search for them was quickly set up. After a K9 track and the use of the Holmdel Police Department’s drone- the subjects were not located. The vehicle they were dropped off in fled towards the Garden State parkway.

If you see anyone matching the clothing description in your area do not approach. Notify police immediately. Please ensure your vehicle and homes are locked, even if you are home. While there were no weapons shown in this attempt, it is advised to keep you distance.
