CLIFTON: Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik has died after fatally shooting himself this afternoon. The incident took place at a Turkish restaurant in Clifton by the name of Toros. Sheriff Berdnik apparently walked into the bathroom where he fatally shot himself. Numerous police agencies responded within minutes; where they tried to perform lifesaving measures but were unsuccessful.
