NEWARK: Two officers we’re shot in Newark responding to a call near Van Velsor Place and Chancellor Avenue. One officer was shot in the neck and the other was shot in the leg. Both officers are expected to survive. We can confirm that the shooter is still at large. Police said they have the scene under control and the surrounding area has been evacuated. We will update as we get additional information.
