Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office Holds Workshop for First Responders on Coping With Emotional Stresses of Their Job

Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office shares the following information for first responders:

Quite often first responders are not only challenged physically but emotionally as well, since they deal with traumatic events. In an effort to support all first responders, #SheriffGolden was pleased to have #MCSONJ’s Deputy EMS Coordinator Bil Rosen present “HELP”, which focuses on the mental health of first responders and how to recognize and cope with stress, trauma and PTSD.

“HELP” is the first of several Monmouth County OEM/EMS presentations held at the Shore Area Communications Center in Neptune.
