MVA With Extrication

This afternoon Whiting Fire Sta 33 was dispatched to a two car MVA with unknown entrapment. Upon arrival of Chief 3300, it was determined that one individual remained trapped in a vehicle. Asst Chief 3310, Rescue 3303, and Engine 3311 responded to the scene to perform extrication while patient care was handled by Manchester Division of Emergency Services. Units 3327 and 3317 responded to assist with traffic control well beyond the duration of the rescue. Also responding to assist were members of Sta 76 and JBMDL. The scene was handed over to Manchester PD for investigation purposes.
