HOLMDEL: This evening at about 6:30 pm, an unknown suspect entered Kay Jewelers, 2131 Route 35, showed a handgun and demanded the store employees turn over all “men’s gold.” The employees complied and the suspect left the store on foot. No one was physically injured during this incident. It’s believed he walked to the rear of the building, in the direction of Kohls Plaza.

The suspect was described as a thin white male, early 70’s, possible Russian accent, wearing jeans, dark jacket, wool hat, face mask and sneakers. The handgun shown was in the suspects waistband. If you have any information, please contact Detectives Kret or Nolan at 732-946-4400.
