A tense drive with a suicidal individual started out in Barnegat and went up into Toms River and back down Route 9 finally coming to a came to a safe stop at Walgreen’s on Route 9 in Bayville. The driver pulled over and stopped his car voluntarily with no harm or injuries to anyone involved. Earlier the driver was threatening if police turned on their lights he would drive head on into traffic. Thankfully, this came to a peaceful conclusion. A big thank you to the police officers from the various town who kept the situation calm and under control.
