Early this morning Station 19-3 and Station 19-5 were dispatched to a deck fire in the Windmill Club. Due to multiple calls, Howell Police asked Chief 19-3-66 if they should fill the box alarm. The 1st alarm assignment was dispatched. Upon arrival, Chief 19-3-66 located a deck on fire with extension up the wall of the multi family residence. Command was established, a 360 was completed as well as evacuating neighboring units. A second alarm was transmitted bringing in additional units from Freehold, Jackson, Lakewood and Brick. The fire was extinguished in both units and units cleared the scene after a few hours.
