BERKELEY: A lawsuit has been filed in the Superior Court against Central Regional High School after a Freshman girl was attacked after Christmas break in January 2022. The freshman girl who is being represented by Jonathan Ettman of Feitlin Youngman Karas & Gerson Law Firm handles dozens of bullying cases every year. “My client received threatening text messages out of the blue. She went to guidance, and to speak to the Vice Principal, and Principal about the texts and nothing was done.” The vice principal is also the anti bullying specialist. “On January 10, 2022 the girl followed through with the threats and beat my client. She was left to fend for herself. They did nothing to help my client.” The case is now in discovery and will take awhile to process through the courts. The fight was posted on various social media sites including one page that is dedicated to fights at Central Regional High School. The mother of the victim stated “My heart and condolences go out to the Kuch Family during this tragic time. The violence needs to end at Central Regional High School.”
