BERKELEY: Four girls from Central Regional High School have been charged in the beating that caused 14-year-old Adriana Kuch to take her own life. Originally prosecutors charged three of the girls with third-degree felony assault and a fourth was charged with disorderly conduct.
In the days after Adriana’s suicide and public outcry prosecutors changed the charges. The charges are as follows. One of the girls was charged with aggravated assault, the second girl was charged with harassment and two others with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault. Because the girls are juveniles their names have not been released.
