BRICK: Pioneer Hose Company #1 released the following regarding yesterdays fire on Bayberry in Brick.

Shortly after 4:30 pm District 1 was alerted to a residential structure fire on Bayberry Ave. Chief 2110 arrived on location confirming the fire and called for a second alarm. Engine 2231 with Lt. 2240 arrived first due securing a water supply and stretched lines immediately to the interior of the house. Ladder 2115 arrived second and sent a crew to the roof for ventilation. Crews operated on scene for a few hours before clearing up. Chief 2110 held command with Chief 2200 in operations. The fire is under investigation by the Brick Township Fire Bureau. Great work by all personnel on scene and thank you to all mutual aid companies.
