Police Searching For Suspect Who Put a Semi Automatic Gun to a Juvenile’s Head

NJ State Police have released the following information regarding a suspect they are seeking.

New Jersey State Police Troop “A” Port Norris Station is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying male suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred in Lawrence Township, Cumberland County, N.J. Pictured is a composite sketch of the suspect done by NJSP Forensics Imaging Unit.

On February 11th, a juvenile victim encountered the male suspect, described as short, white, male believed to be in his 30s, with a red colored beard and wearing a dark hooded jacket. During the brief interaction, the suspect pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun with a dark brown grip and pressed it on the juveniles head. An approaching vehicle interrupted the suspect who then fled on foot heading east on Iron Bridge Road.
