Traffic nightmare from downed wires.

TRAFFIC UPDATE

Part of Route 30 (White Horse Pike) is currently closed in both directions after a front-end loader got tangled in wires on the drawbridge. Traffic is being detoured outbound at Gramercy Avenue and inbound at the Home Depot in Absecon and at Delilah Road in Pleasantville.

Detours are expected to be in effect until late this afternoon.

Per Atlantic City Police Department, no injuries have been reported.

Motorists must seek an alternate route, such as Route 40 or the Atlantic City Expressway. Atlantic City Electric is on scene. (Click on link for video)
