BOUND BROOK: The following information was released from the Bound Brook Fire Department regarding an early morning fire:

This morning shortly before 7am 23 fire was disptached to the 500 block of Marion Street for a reported garage fire. After the garage was confirmed attached a first alarm was requested. PD and Fire arrived to fire showing from the garage area. PD hit the fire with a garden hose. Upon arrival of SQ23 crews stretched and made entry into the structure. The fire was held to the garage and attic space. The fire is under investigation by the Bound Brook Fire Officials Office.
