Commercial Burglary

On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at approximately 0520 hours, officers from the Lacey Township Police Department responded to Biele Jewelers, located at 116 Route 9 S, Forked River NJ 08731, for a burglar alarm call.

Upon arriving to the business, officers discovered a broken glass door and it was evident the business had been burglarized. Officers cleared the business and determined no subjects were inside. Several display cases were broken into and an unknown amount of Jewelry was stolen from the business.

The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department CSI Unit, along with Lacey Twp Detectives Jesse Dalziel and Adam Ewart, responded to the process the scene and assumed the investigation.

This incident remains under investigation by members of the Lacey Township Police Department Detective Bureau.
