SANDY HOOK: Three dolphins washes up on Sandy Hook this afternoon. One of the dolphins was clearly in distress, and shaking violently. Unfortunately, the dolphin died before it could be saved. Marine Mammal Stranding Center has no comment on what could have caused this. They are currently on scene investigating. We are also getting reports that dolphins are in distress near Point Pleasant’s treasure island. We will update as we get additional information.
