EDISON: Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Thomas Bryan of the Edison Police Department announced today that a serious accident is under investigation. 

Today, at 2:07 A.M., authorities responded to Route 1 and Wooding Avenue following the report of a crash. Upon their arrival, authorities located two vehicles, one vehicle’s passengers sustained minor injuries, the other vehicle’s passengers were in critical condition and were transported to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. 

After an initial investigation it was determined that the vehicle that caused the crash was driving northbound on Route 1 when he attempted to make a U-turn at the median break for Wooding Avenue, when he was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Route 1.
