NEW BRUNSWICK: Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Anthony A. Caputo of the New Brunswick Police Department announced today that a shooting is under investigation. 

On Saturday, February 25, 2023, at approximately 11:08 A.M., authorities responded to the area of Delavan Street and Joyce Kilmer Avenue following the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located one male who sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and remains in critical condition.
