SANDY HOOK: Earlier today the US Coast Guard spotted another deceased humpback whale floating near Sandy Hook. It’s unknown if this is the same whale discovered floating in the Ambrose Channel which is a shipping lane for vessels in the NY/NJ area.

The NOAA responded as well as advised that due to the whale’s location, safety concerns due to impending weather will prohibit a response at this time.

Many local leaders have called for a 30 day halt on off shore work on a large wind farm project that is receiving the full support of Governor Phil Murphy. The state democrats rejected the republicans proposal to halt the project for 30 days.

Yesterday we had a seal out of the water on Route 35 in Brick and today another deceased whale. What is it going to take for the government to open their eyes?
