LINDEN: The Linden Police Department released the following information regarding a shooting this morning.

At approximately 10:15 am this morning Officers responded to the 800 block of Baldwin Ave on reports of a shooting. Upon arrivals Officers were met outside by the victim, who stated that she was shot inside the residence during a domestic dispute. The suspect, who was still inside the home, surrendered to Officers without incident.

The woman was treated on scene and transported to Newark University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Detective Bureau.
