SEASIDE: Seaside Heights, and Toms River Police Departments are responding to the Seaside Bridge for a man who jumped off the bridge. Man is described to be aggravated and armed with knives. We will update as we get additional information.

Update: So far no signs of anyone on or near the bridge. Island Heights Police is now responding.

Update: The man’s cell phone was found on scene. He last made contact with someone 15 minutes ago.

Update: No confirmation anyone is in the water. Police are requesting boats to check the area. Stations 27, 28, 29, and 53, and the Coast Guard are responding with boats.

Update: Subject has been found by Seaside Heights Police. All units can go home.
