Brush Fire 3/8/22

At 7:13pm Station 33 and the NJFFS were dispatched to a reported brush fire on Rt 539 (in the area of mile marker 27.5). Chief 3300, Asst Chief 3310, Brush 3339, Brush 3319, Tanker 3318, Utility 3327, and Utility 3317 responded in. An active fire was confirmed by first arriving units. Despite conditions including wind gusts (up to 20mph), crews were able to contain the fire to about 25 acres.
