HOLLYWOOD: Actor, Robert Blake, age 89, is reported to have passed away. Blake was known for his role as a police detective on the hit series Baretta where he starred with his sidekick Fred the bird. Blake also starred in Our Gang when he was just five years old. He also starred in various movies and miniseries throughout his career.

In 2001 Blake lived out a real life crime scene after his wife Bonny was shot outside a restaurant. He was charged with her murder but after a lengthy trial in the public’s eye, he was acquitted.
